RESULTS Tucson USA Raceway Small (1/5th mile) track July 27 What a great start to the night! Katherine lined up 3rd row inside for the heat race and ended up with a 3rd place finish. She drew 8 for her main event starting position. Kat was running in the top 5 for the first half of the main that was plagued with yellows and 3 complete restarts. About halfway through the main when, the same car (Pat Wing) that took her out of the transfer spot last week, drove full throttle into her again! This damaged something in the suspension - drastically altering the handling of the car. When she restarted in the back of the field again, she spun and was hit by another car. So even though the night did not end as well as it started, Katherine still had a blast for her first time on such a small track! We want to welcome a new sponsor to the team : Top Savings.
